This is a very late post. I am almost embarrassed that it has taken so long to get it up here. Well, hopefully I didn’t lose any fans during the extended delay. At least, I didn’y lose you. So thanks.
I spent some time in New York over the Christmas break visiting some family. When I wasn’t eating Korean food, drinking soju, and singing karaoke, I tried my best to find my way into Manhattan. Of course, there were a few things that had to be checked off while I was there.
We saw In the Heights during a matinee show on a Sunday. This definitely deserved the Best Musical award from the Tony’s last year. It was a lot of fun with latin inspired and hip-hop dancing, a good story line, and very likable characters. Broadway show: check.
Sshh…the show is about to start.
After the show we strolled down various streets while being mesmerized by all the bright lights.
Radio City Music Hall: check.
Giant Christmas tree at the Rockefeller Center: check.
One of my favorite places I have ever been to is SoHo. Everything I want is all condensed into this area: shopping, bars, and restaurants. What else could you possibly want? The answer is nothing. Explore Soho: check, check, and…
check.
