blurring boundaries.

Interaction is a kind of action that occurs as two or more objects have an effect upon one another. The idea of a two-way effect is essential in the concept of interaction. (Wikipedia)

…When we add to this simple principle, the passion for the code, creativity and the natural human aspects for fun-born Multitouch Barcelona. The collective born just one year ago was able to quickly enhance his international recognition thanks to his experimental, fresh and funny video installations.

MultiTouch Barcelona describes themselves like this: a recently born interaction design group that explores natural communication between people and technology. We design experiences that merge real and digital into a creative environment where people are invited to touch, play, move, feel as they do in the real world.

On the simplest level, they have dope installations. There’s a little more to it than that though. This is where technology is going. It’s a few steps beyond your iPhone 3G, kids. Be ready to fully interact with technology with more than just your index finger. They call it natural interaction and basically want to create a relationship with you and technology. With these installations, they blur boundaries between real digital. Guten Touch
