The first piece of vinyl art I ever purchased was on a gut decision. I couldn’t choose which Trexi I wanted, but I ended up picking up the one designed by some San Fransisco based artist Huck Gee. Ever since then, I have become quite a fanatic of the scene, but even after seeing all of the artists and toys, my favorite artist is still Huck Gee. I got to see him in person January of last year at the release of his 8 inch Dunny at the Standard. I had him sign the original piece I purchased; he was quite delighted to see it, since most people only knew of his current stuff.
Well, what he is known for nowadays is his Hello My Name is Dunny that was part of the series 2 Dunnies. Since then, he has created many variations of the classic, which in turn have become their own classics.

For the bilingual crowd, even though the phrase is wrong.
Flipping the Labbits.
Next Thursday, on October 30th, Kidrobot will release the best variation of them all. Everything about this Dunny is downright astounding: the straps on the face and body, the removal of the arms, and the blood splatter. This is limited only 500 and will be distributed amongst Kidrobot’s multiple stores and online on different days and time. Go to their site for the details.
